If they matter show them
Published August 12, 2026
Hey, beautiful people. I hope everybody's having a wonderful day. So, listen, it's like this. Check it out.
You ready? Your memory. The moments in time that you create every day is full of memories and time. You cannot take it back.
This is why it is important to tell the people you love you love them this is why it's important to show kindness in this world this is why it's important, to put happiness and fun and work hard man work real hard work real hard because if you work hard, then you can play often and you can love life, playing doesn't have to be anything major, it's the simple things hey you can sit at home with your best friend or your partner and play cards and you're making those good memories when do those memories stop, those memories stop and get replaced with conflict and chaos, When you stop appreciating each other, I'm sorry, a car drove by, I'm at my house alone. Stop appreciating each other and stop seeing the love and remembering the good. Then you stop doing those little good things and it slowly chips away, chips away, chips away. And then you feel like it's a have to because your partner's saying, why aren't you doing these things?
Why aren't you? Taking love and the people around you for granted is 100% normal. 100% normal. It's not something to really get angry about.
Just like you don't need to get angry when somebody points it out to you. Because honestly, it's normal. We have to make a conscious choice every day to try to move forward in life be better than we were yesterday make happy memories laugh this, world is not easy guys there's not a single one of us out there that can honestly say that their life is 100 perfect say it watch what happens, i'm not even joking this world is hard hold on to the people you love show true appreciation speak words of kindness lift each other up, make small memories, things should not be so serious in life you know and here's the thing here's the thing. And I have heard before in life, because I am an eccentric writer kind of person, so I do talk a little different sometimes, most of the time.
And I know some other people similar, and we've heard, I've heard, and you might have even heard, that life does not have to be full of the sweet, touchy, deep emotional things. Bullcrap. And here's why I say bullcrap. Because you're showing somebody that they matter.
You are getting to know somebody deeper. And honestly, we never know when somebody's going to be gone. And wouldn't you cherish those sweet, sentimental moments? Now, do all of them all day long have to be that way?
Heck no. Laugh, be silly, be goofy, but when you are expressing love, Oh, yeah, this this blows my mind because I hear it all the time. When you are expressing love, make sure it is coming from love. Make sure you are soft and you are graceful and you are appreciative.
Because if you're not, you're going to hurt your friend, your partner your family member. You're going to hurt them bad. And guess what? But you can't get mad because you hurt somebody.
It's not right. A lot of people do that. It's a defense thing. It's a defense thing, y'all.
It's totally normal. It's totally normal. Especially when somebody good does not intentionally hurt somebody. But they're living in chaos or something in their own head.
It's normal. We've all been there. I've been there. I should be the first one to tell you.
I've been crazier than crazy before. I mean, I was misdiagnosed and put on medicine and was chemically induced bipolar. Okay, so crazy happens. Life happens.
Embrace the people you love. Embrace them for who they are. Understand their heart is good. Make those memories.
make them with your best friends make them with your partner make them with your family we get one shot at this guys one shot it's, not a matter of what you do it's a matter of how you love in this world honest to goodness that's how you're remembered on your heart how you loved. So today, I challenge you to be freaking awesome, to show love and understanding and grace and all those wonderful things to the world, to the people you love. Hug and kiss on them. Tell them they're freaking amazing.
Be humble. Have grace for yourself and have grace for others. Remember, you're freaking awesome. Peace out.
I'll catch you next time on Your Story's Not Over. You're still writing it.
