Your Story Is Not Over

Your partner is not your enemy

Published August 11, 2026

We shouldn't treat our partners like our enemy but we end up doing it anyway, Okay, guys. Hey, check it out. I just had a really, really, really cool conversation. You ready?

How many of y'all feel like your partner's your enemy half the time? Why do we do that? Why do we become each other's enemy? How can you love someone so much that you become each other's enemy and y'all are fighting against each other?

What does that accomplish? That's just a bunch of anxiety and fear and a bunch of crap. Now, wait. Here's the kicker.

That is normal in a long-term relationship with someone. Life happens, things happen. We accidentally become on that basis of an enemy. But we're not really enemies, even though both parties will feel it sometimes.

That's all I hear. Miss Honey. Miss Erin. How in the world do we quit being enemies?

Y'all, it's simple. It's your partner. Conspire together. Love together.

Be there for each other. Make sure both people feel valid. Make sure both people feel loved. It's your partner.

Because when you stop doing those things for your partner, and your partner feels like they're doing them for you, it's when you start becoming enemies. So, real quick, today, pop in, pop out kind of thing. Just wanted to let you know, your partner's not your enemy. If they are, get rid of them.

They're supposed to be your partner. Your partner is not your enemy If you truly feel like you have an enemy for a partner, you need to get away. Get away. If you feel like there is a disconnect, guess what?

Both of you truly step up, be humble, truly take accountability for making the other person feel that way. And start making new memories. And start embracing. for something even better.

Quit being enemies. Y'all, it's that damn simple. It is so simple. But being enemies.

Love each other. It's your partner. It's the person you chose. You're the person they chose.

You're not forced together. Choose each other. Get over your high horse. Whichever partner it is.

Maybe it's both of you, Get over it. Get over your hot horse and treat each other right. Take accountability so that both people can understand where they're needin it and where things need to be better for the other person. Just do it.

Because if you're not. You're saying that you're trying and you're just not willing to do it You're being a victim and you could have a partner next to you that truly loves you that picked you think about it, i remember you're amazing freaking amazing putting in the hard work you're the one doing all the effort nobody's making you you're doing it on your own you're proving to yourself, be proud of yourself now you're freaking awesome make today amazing peace out, catch you next time when your story's not over you're still writing it.
